Our Story
We are Brian and Kirstie Wachholtz. We have always had a love for horses. Brian grew up ranching and a horse named Sammy started his journey as a horseman. He attended farrier school early on but had many other adventures like cowboying, ranching, horse training, and ranch roping prior to returning to farrier school with the desire to become better and make a career out of it. From ranch horses to Three-day Eventers, and Reiners he looks at shoeing as an art. Each horse brings its own puzzle and little modifications can completely change movement and hoof quality. Brian looks at shoeing as a continuous journey. Brians passion trickled over to Kirstie and sparked a desire to take her love of horses and wellness to another level. Kirstie went to college at a small private equestrian college where she learned to ride multiple disciplines and learned everything from herd management and facility design to teaching riding lessons. She loved Dressage and Three-day Eventing until she got the Cutting bug. She worked as an assistant Cutting trainer and colt starter for a number of trainers-this is where she became passionate about equine wellness. She then joined Brian on the cowboying journey until they settled down to ranch in Wyoming. Brians passion for shoeing and equine soundness took ahold of Kirstie and she began her journey with PEMF. With a year into the incredible results she was getting from PEMF she felt she needed to know more and that began her equine massage and bodywork journey. Both Brian and Kirstie spend time continuing their education and striving for that next certification or course that will push them forward.
With a relocation to Idaho they stay busy with business, as well as, raising American Brabant Draft horses, Quarter horses, and livestock.
